Lance Mackey wins 4th straight Iditarod...
Lance has made history today, no other musher in Iditarod history has won 4 Iditarods in a row.
Lance Mackey has won the 1,100-mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race one more time...in just 8 days and 23 hours
Mackey crossed the finish line in Nome on Tuesday afternoon to become the only musher in the 38-year history of the Iditarod to win four consecutive races.
For winning, Mackey gets a new Dodge truck and $50,400.
Mackey told the folks at the finish line in Nome that he will return next year to attempt to win a 5th time..
71 teams took to the Iditarod trail for the 2010 running..
Hans Gatt of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory finished second..
